We had an excellent experience and it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the restaurants, though we did not get to eat at the restaurant on the North side of the building. The staff was incredible and very helpful. The spa was extraordinary.

I just came back from a week at Paraiso with my mother--what a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautiful, the oceanview suites are very intimate, confortable and chic. The service is first rate (the staff is so generous and attentive). It is an amazing place to relax. We went almost every day to the Thalasso spa and tried more than a dozen different treatements. Every single one of it is first rate, delivered by an attentive, professional, and super competent staff. We have been to a couple of spas around the world. This one is by far the best.

Coming from a couple who has had the unique opportunity to travel the world from Europe, to the Middle east and through out Asia. We have stayed at the finest hotels and resorts. We give the Paraiso De La Bonita a huge "thumbs up". The hotel is definitely an up an comer and has proven to be not only a first rate hotel on all levels but easy accessible from NY via direct flights out of JFK. Prices are not cheap but good value for what you get.the only down side is the beach is not as pristine as some Caribbean resorts and islands. Comments to the beaches sea weed problems are accurate. but the hotel has one of the nicest pools I have seen. The food will delight any gourmet and the service is second to none. A great long weekend away and highly recommended. "True Paradise"
An breathtakingly beautiful place in every way - be prepared to be "wowed" the second you walk in. Very upscale and luxurious but it maintains a casual atmosphere, this is leisure traveling at its best. Amazing food and ultra-friendly staff - I cannot wait to go back again! "Fabulous Resort"
What a fabulous resort!! We spent 5 days at this resort in February. This was by far the most outstanding property we have ever visited...everything is first class. The service is impecable, the accommodations are spectacular, the spa is fabulous! From the moment you arrive at this resort there is nothing they will not do for you.
Your every whim is attended to. The location is wonderful, a short trip to Playa Del Carmen...a great little seaside town with many interesting shops and restaurants and cafes. The hotel will arrange everything for you from transportation to car rentals to reservations or whatever you wish. My only comment about the hotel would be that there is basically only one restaurant to eat at. An indoor/outdoor beach type restaurant for breakfast and lunch and a very upscale restaurant for dinner. Room Service is always available. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a low-key, very relaxing and pampering vacation. It is expensive but worth every penny! "Fantastic"
Fantastic, gorgeous resort. Service, rooms, food and amenities are all first rate. Postings on this site about the beach are accurate, if you are interesting in swimming in the ocean you'll be dissappointed but if you are looking for relaxation, this is the place for you. Enjoy! "Paradise Found"
Words fail me as I try to convey the beauty of this resort. We travel frequently, and this is the most magical place we've seen (including The Four Seasons, Maui). Beyond sublime, Paraiso de la Bonita is remarkable. The rooms are exquisite. The grounds are breathtaking. The staff is warm, open, attentive - perfect! The spa and pool are both to die for.
This is the closest place to heaven-on-earth. For us - a transformative experience.
